Ignore Her-Short Scary Story
Jonathan was listening to music in his room when his dad burst in, pale with terror. Christopher locked the door and whispered, “She’s back. Don’t look at her. Don’t think about her. Ignore her.” No further explanation, just the command to join his mom and sister for dinner.
As Jonathan descended the stairs, the atmosphere was thick with dread. His family sat stiff at the table, fear etched into their faces. The lasagna was served, but the sound of creaking floorboards and labored breathing echoed through the house.
“Stay calm. Ignore her,” Christopher ordered, his voice shaky. But when Jonathan asked questions, his father snapped, “Shut up.” The tension snapped when a gray, skeletal hand clamped down on Lilly’s shoulder. The cold grip made her flinch, but any sudden movement could be fatal. So, they ate—hearts pounding in their chests—pretending nothing was wrong.
Then the phone rang, its sharp tone breaking the silence. Mrs. Christopher rushed to answer it, desperate to avoid the creature lurking behind her daughter. The figure released Lilly and drifted toward her mother, who disappeared into the dark bedroom.
Seconds later, screams erupted, followed by sickening sounds—bones snapping, gasps, then silence. Jonathan’s father pounded on the locked door, his voice hoarse with panic. The door flung open, knocking him backward. The shadowy figure pounced, and in an instant, Christopher was gone, his cries cut off.
Jonathan stood frozen, but Lilly grabbed his shoulders, eyes wide with terror. “Ignore her,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. But as they turned, they saw it—reflected in the fridge mirror—a twisted figure sprinting towards them.
